DOGS


Bath
shampoo, blueberry facial, blow-dry, brush out, ear cleaning, nail trim, and finishing spray.

Bath and Trim
above plus trimming around the feet, butt, and face.  We do not take length off the body with a “trim.”  It is simply used to clean up the scraggly bits.

Full Groom aka Haircut
all of the above plus haircut. We offer AKC specific haircuts or we can get more creative in styling.

Hand-stripping
This is done for specific breeds of wire-haired dogs.  The process pulls out the coat instead of cutting it.  We charge $60 an hour for this service.  A well-maintained hand-strip will obviously take less time than a coat that is fully blown.

*Cost is dependent upon a variety of factors; most importantly size, coat type, and coat condition. Up until the point that we see the dog, all quotes are estimates and must be treated as such.


CATS


Baths
includes oatmeal bath, brush-out, nail trim, ear cleaning and finishing spray.

Lion Cuts and Panther Cuts
above plus shave.  Yes, you can shave a cat.  No, you can’t pick the length: it is an all or nothing process.  The difference between a lion cut and a panther cut are how far the mane goes down the neck and if you want a full tail or just a tuft left on the end.  The condition of the coat decides these questions most of the time.

*Cost is dependent upon coat condition and temperament of the cat.


SPECIALTY SHAMPOOS


We use Chris Christensen Shampoo Systems in addition to Bio-Groom Specialty Shampoos – purely gentle formulas with highly professional results.

Standard:

Day To Day Moisturizing Shampoo - Chris Christensen Systems
Designed specifically for overstressed coats and mild enough to even by used on a day to day basis. This gentle exfoliating high performance therapeutic moisturizing shampoo transforms damaged skin and coat. Its’ moisturizing proteins replenish the coat and skin to a natural balance, addressing the health of the skin and coat at a molecular level.

Clean Start Clarifying Shampoo – Chris Christensen Systems
removes waxes, oils, resins and build-up from the coat and other products that weigh down the coat with regular use. Enriched Pro-Vitamin formula allows deep cleansing without stripping the coat of its essential oils. Good for all coat types, gives the coat a fresh healthy look.

Upgrades: $5 extra for cats and most dogs/$10 extra for hairy dogs over 50lbs.

Hypo-allergenic – Bio-Groom
For extremely sensitive skin, fragrance and soap free

After Bath – Conditioning treatment - Chris Christensen Systems
delivers outstanding ease of combing and brushing the coat. After Bath is recommended for all coat types. It seals the cuticle, adds resilience and moisture to the coat without any traces of heavy waxes or oils.

Medicated – Bio-Groom
For skin disorders causing biting & chewing

Flea & Tick – $10 – $20 extra depending on size and infestation level
All natural shampoo that kills the bugs and relieves the itch.

Skunk Bath - $10 – $20 extra depending on size and locations of skunk stink
Please do not bathe your dog at home if you can help it. Skunk spray is an oil and when the coat gets wet, the hair follicles open up and absorb the spray. We use a dry treatment to neutralize the oil first, and then an additional skunk bath.
